I noticed these new machines have linux on them. I know machines are expensive but i was thinking how easy a firmware hack would be. It would be funny for someone to hexedit some of the firmware. I thought about replaceing some of the bitmaps with custom ones but i'm gonna wait untill i collect a few in the graveyard a couple of years from now. Wondering what you guys thought about it. Linux is getting to be on just about everything and opensource in my opinion is great. Im wondering what ideas you guys would have for a copier virus?
Yes i know it would be a bitch, and we would be the ones fixing it but in my opinon the closer it catches up in technology to computers. (more likely someone will try to compile are hack firmware especially if it has linux.)
