Photocopier suspected cause of office building blaze.

A fire broke out recentley in a local office block, it took 4 local fire units 25 minutes to bring the blaze under control. Fortunatley there were no reports of injuries.
The alarm was raised when somebody saw flames coming out of the photocopying room, the entire room was destroyed.
It was reported that it was suspected that an electrical fault in a large photocopier may have caused the fire.
    This is a true story.
Anybody hear or come across something similar.

Same here, only ever heard of it when people mess with thermo's.

I've heard that UL made it mandatory that all fuser equipped machines have service codes that technicians had to reset if there was a problem with the fuser. This would prevent this kind of thing from happening, that is unless you have a smart (dumb) user (or tech) that thinks they know what they are doing.
