    Firefox web browser

Is anyone using the Firefox browser? Does it work for everything? Why should I upgrade?

    Missed it by that much.

I have tried it off and on.

Pros: not as bloated as IE, pretty quick, was a lot more secure.

Cons: Windoze Updates cannot be downloaded with firefox, some plugins (adobe, realplayer..) are not easy to find or install. Just found security holes( took a couple of years instead of minutes like IE).
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

I have been using firefox for about a year and had very little problems opening websites, but the ones I can't firefox give you an option to open the site in IE by right mouse click and you have the option to open in IE within the browser. The reason they do this is that it blocks java script from writing on your hard drive more or less thats how worms and virus get into your system. It also has automatic updates, get additional extensions and alot of different themes for the browser and if that aint enough how about not giving in to Microsoft and Bill Gate.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

I have been using it for a couple years. It is definately faster and has a bunch of cool features. the only drawback if that is what you want to call is is that it isn't loaded down with every plugin when you first load it so you might have to install shockwave or some other type of add-on. they auto install if you need them so it is really a non-issue. It auto-updates in the background which is a huge plus so you always up to date. i would reccommend giving it a try, its free.
