Hey Gentlemen, first a correction here: Obama is not a Kenyan citizen! He is an American citizen who only happened to have his Ethnic roots in the LUO tribe in Kenya.This ethnic tribe called LUO ( to which, I also fortunately belong) is one of the largest tribes in the EASTERN PART OF AFRICA with settlements spanning the entire East African countries of Southern Sudan, Democratic Republic of CONGO, Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania & KENYA, as well as some parts of Central Africa & Chad. Historically originating from MISRI ( present day Egypt), the LUO are are well known for their POLITICAL ASTUTENESS and shrewdness!
Historically, and before the advent of colonialism in Africa, the LUO tribes established many political dynasties and Empires in AFRICA, such as the powerful BABIITO dynasty of the BUNYORO KITARA EMPIRE which spanned across the entire East African region and thrived for many centuries, from the 15th century to the 19th century (1889), when their last emperor, Kabalega, was defeated, captured and exiled by the British colonialist, after almost 10 years of (MILITARILY)resisting colonialism! To date, the LUO are still a MIGHTY POLITICAL FORCE TO RECKON WITH in our sub-region. Modern day Historians have unearthed evidence indicating that some of the Egyptian Pharaohs could as well have been of the LUO origins.
Obama naturally shares that ''Blessed'' political Blood of his LUO ancestors! We in AFRICA are very proud of Obama's achievement and wish him Well. Do not write him off, all pointers are that he is going to win again with a landslide victory as he did the other timeComment

You are welcome Bill. May I also add here that masterchief is right. Obama is, as you very well know, is of mixed parentage. His mother Magdalene is of Irish descent, so I don't blame masterchief for supporting his ''NEPHEW" if he is also of Irish descent.
Finally, the Kenyan government is NOT a marxist-socialist government as being imagined by ctr-Alt-Del, It has never been one, and there are no indicators that it is about to become one in the near future. As a former British colony it solidly inherited & embraced the British, Western type of democracy complete with their CAPITALIST system! I am not a Kenyan myself, but a citizen of its neighboring country, Uganda. Kenya has a thriving capitalist economy, hundreds of thousands of tourists from America, Europe & other parts of the world flock to Kenya every year, especially to enjoy the beautiful sunshine beach of its coastal city of Mombasa on the shores of the Indian ocean. I've chatted with several friends....some who support Romney and some who support Obama...about 95% of the people I've chatted with who support Romney tell me they support him because of the ideas and policy he offers....but the ppl I talk to who support Obama never tell me they support Obama for any of his policies and such....their response is usually "I won't support Romney" or something along those lines....Is it people are going to vote for Obama not because he has any ideas or policy but just because they don't like Romney?"In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."

Sorry, need to call "bullshit" on this one, Willard "Mitt" Romney hasn't detailed any of his policies yet other that more tax cuts for the rich and more trickle down economics that DO NOT WORK. When asked to be specific about which tax deductions he would eliminate he said multiple times that he would let us know after the election, what the heck is that. Oh yea and his tough on immigration policy of self-deportation (is that a joke?) will be about as effective as a screen door on a submarine. So I will let you in on some of the things President Obama has worked on or towards that I like but please don't forget to have one of your Romney supporting friends get back to us on some of Romney's policy proposals.
Affordable Care Act, AKA Obamacare
Dream Act (blocked by republicans)
Lilly Ledbetter fair pay act (Republicans tried to block it's passage)
Repeal of Don't as Don't tell
Health care for 9/11 first responders (blocked by republicans)
Saving the US auto industry (Mitt said to let them go bankrupt)
30 consecutive months of private sector job growth (4.5 million jobs after Bush recession lost 8 million)
Prevented a 2x increase in student loan interest rates
He shot some Somali pirates in the face
He shot Osama Bin Ladin in the face
Ended bullshit war in Iraq
Drawing down troops in Afghanistan
Worked to prevent the proliferation of nukes to Iran and North Korea
Ended health insurance cost discrimination (men and women now cost the same to insure)
Continued to protect a woman's right to choose.
Supports same sex marriage
Increased used of green energy
Increased Natural Gas production (now at an all-time high)
Increase US Oil production (now at a 14 year high)
Closing the Medicare drug benefit "doughnut hole"
Veteran's Jobs Corps Bill (blocked by the same Republicans that co-sponsored the bill)
Cut taxes for 95% of working families
got rid of pre-existing conditions and lifetime caps
He got a consumer protection division started and as a cabinet level position

I believe we all agree that these people would say Sunday Mass to get elected and reap from its rewards... After all thats all there in it for really to make easy money and feel powerful....

Meanwhile having scrutinized Obama's ''END OF TERM 1 REPORT CARD'' as compiled by 'Ctrl-Alt-Del', I came to the conclusion that the man scored very highly by fulfilling the promises he made to the American people in his previous campaigns, and as per their party..(democrat's) manifesto, I suppose. In high school, he obama would automatically be promoted to the next class. His ''good 1st Term performance'' is not lost on the American people(I mean voters) who will, come this November 2012, come out in droves on the polling days to overwhelmingly vote again for Obama as their next president.
I am not a US citizen so I'm not eligible to vote, but the US being a Super power country, what takes place there, politically, economically & other developments has a bearing on the entire world. Hence our keen interest in the political developments there. We wish the people of America well in the coming polls.Comment

As I stated above, I am not an American citizen, so I will leave the details of the US economy & domestic policies to the US citizens themselves to argue on.But one thing I am very sure of is that Obama inherited an economy which was really in shambles, a mess created by Bush & his 'Texan Cowboys'. It is inconceivable for any right thinking mind to expect Obama to completely turn round the economy in a mere 4 years of his stay in power. On the contrary he needs all the support necessary to tackle that economic mess he inherited from his predecessor!As for the US foreign policy, I think it is 'FIXED', and regardless of who the occupant is on the CAPITAL HILL, be he Democrat or Republican it doesn't change! The Middle East is the center of world politics, the region being a hot bed of all that is considered good or bad in this world. Politics, economy, culture and Religion & Religious bigotry, extremism, name them. And this has been since time immemorial, at least for the last four thousand years of middle east history. No any president, party or country(be they super power or otherwise) can single handedly solve the Middle east problem. This has been proved by history. The hatred or antagonism between the Jews & Arabs is ETERNAL, just as the schism, bigotry, suspicion& intolerance between the Christians and Muslims. These are complex emotions which only need to be managed in order to ensure peaceful coexistence among the various groups. They are real eternal issues which cannot be wished away.Comment

While the debt is higher than we would all like it to be, you really need to stop blaming President Obama for all debt. Much of it is due to Bush programs that were never paid for or even accounted for in the budgeting process until President Obama took office and added it into the budget.
Iraq War - Not accounted for in any of GW Bush budgets - funded for as a non-budgeted emergency appropriation.
Afghanistan War - Not accounted for in any of GW Bush budgets - funded for as a non-budgeted emergency appropriation.

Most of us (except the Romney campaign team) realized pretty early on the the Libyan Embassy attack was terrorism masked as outrage over the movie and while not a prefect situation the Republicans are trying to turn this into some sort of evil Obama plot and the only place it's getting any traction is with the GOP base, the rest of the world sees it for what it is, terrorism.
