[Annoying] Konica closing in on 10k posts

Because it's the most popular brand or because it has frequent pita, odd failures

Looks like the Ricoh forum is not far behind in threads, and ahead on replies... and I know they got some turds in their graveyard (and one or two on the sales floor as well)

I am getting the impression, if I'm not mistaken, that possibly you don't quite like Ricoh machines!!!

Most of them I like just fine - anything that uses B296 developer is a POS, and the engineers know it, but have continued using that stuff for the past 3 generations of that design. The B079 developer worked great in a mechanically identical design, but the engineers won't acknowledge there is a problem.

As a KM tech I might be slightly biased...but maybe it's because you can at least find an answer to the problem in here and everyone knows it...the bizhubs are pretty popular..Other brands may be dropping off a smidgen..(no facts to back that claim up though) Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

There's a lot to like but c'mon. Corrupt cf cards, bad nvram, boards failing, abort codes, fort Knox feed units.

              without knowledge base I'd quit

The Konica based machines, eg. Di5510/BH600/BH500 etc are pieces of crap and have lots of built in problems. Minolta based machines eg. Di2510/BH350C353 etc are a lot better.

I agree. Never been happy with Konica legacy stuff.
