    Re: Rant for the day

I hate the shelves too close to the machine I am working on.
Third time hitting it, I want to pull it off the wall and throw it across the room.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

I hate copiers in hallways in hospitals. Like an Ricoh 2051, when the door is open it blocks the entire hallway.

And copiers in the tightest space. Desk one side, filing cabinet the other side. The only place you can work on it is the the middle of the walkway so you're constantly moving the machine to let people through! And they wonder why it keeps overheating

          New rant:

What possible excuse could the oil companies have for an overnight 30 cent jump in gas prices. When do we get to start putting these criminals in jail. What a load of crap.

I read an article this afternoon where an expert said that the current spike in prices MIGHT have a negative impact on other segments of the economy. What a thinker.

          Rant probably not nearly over.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

The oil companies are the modern-day version of the tax collectors in early Rome... they charge what they want, and everyone hates them.

It rained last night in Texas, that might have something to do with the gas increase. You know, getting umbrellas in case they had to leave there desks and actually do something. Whoever "they" may be.

I knew it, the storms in Texas knocked out the Kansas refinery.

I heard that happened because two refineries had to totally shut down because they had to set up the required summer blends.
So I'll blame this on those dopes that require the change in fuel formulation between summer and winter, because that is the stupidest thing.

Back on the original topic, high tech crap, when I worked for the other company, used to have a cust. that had a revolving door, not just a regulat one, this was a auto-matic revolving door, if you went though it emptyhanded it was ok...try it with a tool bag, toner vac, computer bad, ect...it seemed then to slow way down or stop for some reason, I started to use the regular door next to it.
Just for grins, I came in though the revolving door, tool case in hand, it slowed down, got in, sat it down, went back though, worked normaly...staff there had no idea why, I am no longer with that service company, or even work that area
