well if we want to be really crazy about it, why not dilute some tincture of iodine to the point where it wont stain and use that... kills mold, virus, and bacteria. Actually the mold was one thing I was interested in. Has anyone ever opened up a machine and found paper dust? well, if the humidity rises past a certain point, wouldnt that be the best feed for mold colonies? Anyone opened up a moldy printer? XD

I like to think I get inoculated at work, schools, churches, gvmt offices... We get vaccinated daily just by going to work!

First I get a flu shot. Then I wash my hands when they are dirty, but am not a fanatic about it. My wife and daughter wash their hands all the time, and seem to get sick a lot. In all fairness, the alcohol and strong cleaner I use probably strip away a lot of germs, but there is such a thing as too clean. If you are not exposed to germs, you can.t build a tolerance to them. I remember when i was in Brazil, on two occasions I drank a mouthful of water from a tap, and both times my insides turned to liquid. Meanwhile all the locals were drinking it and brushing their teeth and never getting sick.

You know what, it may not be the flu shot. I get up about 5 am and start drinking coffee, and drink it all day long. I don't think the germs can handle the caffeine. That reminds me, in winter I usually add chocolate covered espresso beans to my diet. Bring on those bad ass germs.

Betadine is an iodine based hospital type disinfectant and believe me, it kills everything. (I spelled it wrong in my original post.) It does not stain your hands, but it does strip the skin off them. We had lotions in the office areas to keep our hands from drying out. I worked there 7 years...never got sick. Not your everyday typical soap.
