Driving around when the conditions aren't that great

Sometimes the weather here makes driving around kind of difficult. I use this:
Iowa Department of Transportation Traveler Information
to help me out then.
Just curious if anyone else uses anything like this.

Not here in San Diego; we had a cold spell with rain and the temp was as low 40 degrees.

My vehicle, my choice on road conditions and if I want to take the chance.
Their vehicle, their choice if the chance is worth the loss.

Like there is never any shop work that needs to be done while the roads clear up.

Down here ( the Caribbean) we use sunglasses as the sun shines everyday, except when it is raining or cloudy. Perhaps you can send some cold air for a change.
