This discussion would be more interesting if we had someone who is Jewish, Muslim, and Hindu to add to the discussion.

As far as explanation for evolution, there is a thread called "Indentured servants my ass..." that contains tons of stuff that nobody reading this, wants to have posted again.
Looking for the easy way out? You have to do some work, and commit. He doesn't just "forgive us without condition" because you have to be worthy of his forgiveness.
I think, in Christianity, Jesus is just another form of God. So believing in Jesus is the same as believing in God.

If you are not willing to explain your beliefs, in your own words, you should not mock other peoples beliefs.

I think I've done that more than once before, there's no point on continuing beating a dead horse.

Re: Where the rubber meets the road.

I think the beliefs of myself and a couple of others are out on the table Darren, we do not believe in Gods.

"Atheism is a religion, like off is a TV channel."

So, despite what I have heard all my life, now if you believe in God in any religion, it is the same as believing in Jesus. Having lived in the Bible belt almost all of my life, I can safely say that religious conservatives would eat you alive over that statement. Between the 2 of us, they would find that statement more offensive than knowing I am Atheist. Darren, I have sat in church and listened to that sermon over and over, "If you do not accept Christ as your savior, you can't enter the kingdom of heaven." Maybe the Christian view that you have is not the one I am debating. I bet church where I am at, is different than where you are at.

I know it has been a week, but, I haven't had a chance to respond.
You seem to have trouble comprehending what I have written. I did not say "if you believe in God in any religion, it is the same as believing in Jesus". That was your statement, so, your religious conservatives can eat you alive.lol. I said, "in Christianity, Jesus is another form of God". And I also said "I think", I did not state it as a fact, I'm not religious so I'm not 100% sure.
You shouldn't rewrite someones post and then criticize it. lol

Well sir, my apologies for rewriting your statement. My question would then go out to someone who is a Christian. As a Christian, do only believers in Jesus go to heaven? And if I get a coherent answer, I can then tie it to the subject of the thread, morals and religion.
