Konica Silver Certificates or "other" vendor awards.

Any body got them? Do they matter to you or your employer?

I have 2 silvers from Konica and with them being somewhat difficult to get, my supervisor makes a big deal of them when he gets to hand them out. Kinda makes me feel "superior" too, well at least until I get my butt kicked on a machine an hour later.

    Any one else.

congratulations on getting silvers I know they are not easy to get but my company don't really care for them, other than bragging rights there is no monetary rewards for them.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

      Thanks.

I was the first in my company to get one, and it was such a big deal back then that it did get me a pretty decent raise. Just got my second a couple weeks ago, but the glamour of it has worn off over the years so I'm not looking for any bonuses from it.

i have one co-worker that have gotten two golds and two silvers. another has gotten a gold the first time he ever been to school. and two other co-workers have silvers. me??? nothing. aced two finals and still nothing. must be a butt kissing thing, i don't kiss no ones butt.

my company pays out cash for each one earned. yes they make a big deal out of training - period. 100 dollars for silvers. 250 for golds.

Over the past 8 years I have been to Kyocera over 15 times. Aced every class but 1. Have never recieved any monetary or recognition from the company other than more work. Hey your the expert, go out and fix this one................ Seems to be bragging rights for the company, not the tech.
