I hear you I worked for both Ricoh and Ikon, Ricoh was ok to work for but was tolerable Ikon was terrible when I was there but when Ricoh gave Ikon management control it went down hill, lucky I got out before then. I never understand why Ricoh who bought Ikon would give a failing company financially the ability to fail twice. Any way good luck to you on your new job.

Congrats on achieving escape velocity! I started doing real estate on the side in my attempt to leave the black hole of RIKON, so if you know of anyone who needs a home in E. WA (not D.C.) let me know!

Congrats on getting better employment. I was at one place and on average 1 person every 3 months left, so that should tell you how that place was run. I finally got hired somewhere else and I went in to tell the manager I was leaving. He started looking through a particular pile of papers (meaning he hadn't sent them where they they needed to go) and asked me what the company did for me on my last review. So he was looking for papers on my review, which should have happened about three months prior. I told him I didn't come in for a review. He stopped looking and said "Oh".

As one that was let go from Ricon after the merger, I must say that there is life after Ricon...I am not a number.....I don't need to work through lunch anymore....only the management wins there...somehow they get bonuses when techs get screwed...
