That's one I regret not seeing. I did see Black Sabbath in early August, for the 5th or 6th time, really good show. The one I saw at the end of August was an awesome surprise. We had tickets to see the Allman Brothers Band. They are one of my top favorites and i have seen them many times. A few days before the show I found out that Stevie Winwood was opening for them. I was thrilled, but apprehensive, as I assumed he would do most of the stuff from his solo career, but to my surprise he did all of his hits from Traffic and Blind Faith. I was blown away. During the Allman Brothers Band show, they did several with members of Stevie's band, and Stevie came out and sang a couple with them including "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" and some Stevie ray Vaughn.

I saw an awesome t-shirt the other day, my new signature...

I have tickets for Black Sabbath in December, I can't wait, I've seen Ozzy twice, but never Sabbath. I also have The Steroephonics in November, I've seen them twice before

Life just gets better and better, today I managed to secure 1 ticket, 7 rows from the stage, to see Kate Bush on her first live tour since 1979

My cousin procured 2 tickets to see Black Sabbath at the MTS center in Winnipeg. I may pester him to give me one... It's been a lifelong dream to see a Sabbath show. Unfortunately I wasn't born early enough to catch them in their hay day, but better late than never!

If you can get one of the tickets I promise you, you won't be disappointed, they were brilliant in December.
I'm annoying everyone by posting Kate Bush videos on Facebook now, tickets to see her are rarer than hen's teeth, she's doing 22 dates, and all tickets sold out in 15 minutes

Wife just bought tickets for a Kiss/Boston show in Charlotte. Saw Boston twice when they first came out in the 70's. Sammy Hagar was their opening act at one of them, Van Halen was at the other, with Poco and The Outlaws.

You must have been real quick at ordering just to get a ticket let alone 7 rows from the stage. Let us know how it was.

I was on the verge of giving up, I was trying to get 2, cheaper priced, tickets, but it kept telling me there was none available, whatever day I selected, so I decided to just try for one ticket (I'm happy to do things alone...good job really, I get little choice most of the time) and go for any price ticket, I am still buzzing that I managed to secure one. I will give a report on how it was.
And only 2 1/2 weeks after seeing Kate Bush, I get to realise another of those long wished for dreams...I am seeing Joan Baez

Interesting reading about all the shows you folks are going too. I saw my share back in the day. Stones in 73 . And isn't it funny that in 67 not many people knew who Pink Floyd was. They sure did make it big. I went and saw Jethro Tull in about 71. The Eagles were the opening band. Who the hell are they? never heard of em. Didn't pay any attention to there misic. Big mistake wasn't it. You mentioned Stevie Windwood there fixthecopier dude. I have 2 Traffic CD's and Blind Faith put out only one album that I have. Eric Clapton was in the group. AH the good old days.So do they still smoke weed at the shows? I was at the Paramont Theatre in Seattle watching a band play and every one is tokeing away. The usher comes up behind me and says no smoking. Then he says, oh it's a joint, then just keep it down. LOL. Damn we use to get so loaded.
