Any one else watch the Breaking Bad finale Sunday?

I enjoyed it, thought they did pretty good with it. Enjoyed the 5 years or so it ran. It was probably the best show on TV(to me). Sad to see it go but, it was designed to end.

It was great! I expected Walt to die of natural causes instead of the way he did.

Ya, watched it all. Did not like the ending as much. I liked it 2 weeks ago when Hank got a slug to the head. Then Walt takes the ride away from town with new ID and a new life? and the nazis bring Jesse out and Todd tells Jesse, OK lets cook. I think that would have been a good place to end it.??

Ive only watched up to the end of the 2nd season I think.

I've been watching all of Game of Thrones. Almost finished season 3. That Joffrey kid though... Induces the rage of a thousand burning suns.

The ending was very, very clean.

Walt's family is going to get his money in the end (despite their righteous hatred him and subsequent refusal of the money), he has Gretchen and Elliot under his thumb for at least the next several months after his death, Badger and Skinny Pete get shoehorned in one last time, Walt liberates Jesse and they have a form of reconciliation, then he gets to die among his cooking equipment - the one thing that truly made him happy. I think those who still managed to root for Walt throughout this season got a steaming bowlful of satisfaction out of this ending.

Still more realistic than LOST's ending though.

We were VERY disappointed with the way LOST ended. In fact it sucked. I feel like we wasted 5 years watching it. So many things were left unexplained.

Makes me glad I never started watching LOST. The whole thing seemed a little far fetched from the get go, even for my taste, and I like some very absurd things.

Breaking Bad finale couldn't have been done any better I think. They did toy around with a number of ending possibilities, even as far back as the first season, things like Skylar committing suicide, Walt Jr. getting offed, Walt going out like Rambo. Of all the possibilities the writers said they came up with, I felt this one wrapped things up quite nicely.

The last 4 or 5 episodes were really amazing. And the best revelation came in the end : he wasn't really doing this for his family, he was doing it because it made him feel alive. Now that was great. Jesse really started to annoy me from the moment he switched sides and teamed up with the police. A lot of bad things happened to Walt because of him. It was really a great ending, done in the Breaking Bad unique style. I'm sad it has came to an end. I think i'll start watching mad men.

On a related topic, is anyone else excited for the spin-off that's already got a green light? "Better Call Saul!".

If it's anything like Breaking Bad was, I know it'll be a great show.

Mad Men is great, especially if you were alive in the 60s.

Yeah I heard it was really bad.. I never got into that show, I think it seemed far fetched and dragged out. I did enjoy Fringe for awhile(another J.J. Abrams creation), until about the 3rd or 4th season maybe.

Can't wait for Better Call Saul! Maybe we'll get to see hitman Mike and Gus in their glory days, make an appearance. From what I hear it's supposed to be more comedic somehow. They did do some minisodes with Badger and Skinny Pete a while back. One of my favs was the Fallacies video with Badger and Jesse from their band Twaughthammer.

Really liked his character. Shame they killed him off so soon. He was the pinnacle of nerd and geek.

I watched the whole series on Netflix! I couldn't stop! I lost count of how many times I yelled "oh COME ON!" at the screen in Season 6. The first three seasons or so were pretty great, but the ending was 100% fanservice and was the cheapest thing in the world. It was a dollar-store action figure ending.

Now, as great as the BrBa ending was, many of us cried out for an answer on what happened to Huell, left sitting in that safehouse for Hank and Gomez to return. Friends, your answer: Huell's Rules from Lavell Crawford, Andy Bush, Caleb Swyers, Funny Or Die, Ross Buran, mattmazany, BoTown Sound, and kevinstewart

I'm hearing that "Better Call Saul", however, will be a real black humor infused show. Can't wait.
