    Hacker Heaven

Hi all on copytechnet ...It appears I have a hacker in my system, for the millionth time. The @ssholes are going through my social media forums deleting and rearranging my time lines. If I have not replied to your post it's because it was deleted. I applogies to everyone if the hacker F/W's have caused mischief. I assure you it's not myself doing anything untoward. This attack is not the usual STUXNET. It appears to be different. I get the usual Russian, American Military blah blah hackers they get boring. This attack smells like Asian... I noticed I have two different time lines on copytechnet this morning while running two screens. The first screen had my previous days work. The second screen had all my previous posts removed....Anyway no use whinging, " same sh!t different day". Just letting others know......

Sounds like it's time to reinstall your operating system, you could have a keylogger buried deep somewhere. It's obviously on the extreme side, but there's not really a downside to reinstalling other than having to get all of your original stuff back the way you liked it in the first place.

Stay away from warez, porn and other shitty websites, change your passwords on a semi regular basis and brush twice a day. BTW, there was nothing "usual" about Stuxnet, it was pretty awesome. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuxnet

I recommend running Hitman Pro, and Rkill from Kaspersky. They have found and eliminated nasty things for me ,,,,,,,,

Your average 'hack' is not someone controlling your computer. It is an automated system that has collected your password somehow (keylogger, fake login website, phishing email etc etc etc) and is now using your email and social media accounts to try and both infect other users, and probably advertise on your timeline.

Install malwarebytes, start your PC in safe mode without networking and run a malware scan. Also install Microsoft Security essentials, update it fully and run a scan with that.

If that still fails, back up your shit, format your drive completely using a formatter that boots from a floppy or USB key, then clean install windows, install all your updates, install virus scanner, reinstall your stuff and take more care when browsing the internet next time.

                This.

I remember years ears ago was my first real virus. I shared a file with some thru aim or Irc can't remember. Had to reformat reinstall. The virus wiped out all my media files and locked out all my email and IM accounts. Lol

A couple of hints for reinstalling Windows from the installation CD:
                  1. Disconnect your network cable, turn off any builtin wireless interface, remove any USB or other external wireless device.
                  2. Boot from the CD and delete all existing partitions. If the hard disk contains a support partition, contact the manufacturer and obtain a CD to reinstall the support partition after you have finished.
                  3. Shut down completely. If you don't and the malware has installed on the boot partition, it will be memory resident when you reboot. Complete shutdown purges memory.
                  4. Reboot the computer and recreate the desired partition structure.
                  5. Shut down completely.
                  6. Reboot the computer and format the partition.
                  7. Shut down again.
                  8. Reboot and reinstall the OS.

Install MalwareBytes Anti Malware. You can go with the free version. It just does not provide active protection. You have to manually run scans. The purchase version provides full protection.

Install a good firewall. Make sure it is a firewall that you can easily go in a change settings if you happen to hit block instead of allow. I have gotten calls from customers who cannot print only to find that their firewall is blocking TCPIP printing.

Wow thanks guys. I appreciate all the posts.... I have my own software that write zero's to every byte on the any hard drive. This wipe is so low level that you have to load the boot sector manually. It wipes every thing. The program is only two kilobytes in size. It wipes like a clean rag. I'm fully aware of romboot loader's and ram loaders. I'm fully aware of TSR terminate stay resident ram code after the power plug is pulled from the system for less than a minute. Always wait for a minute or more for the ram chips to power down ,if you don't know what this means. I'm fully aware of boot sector burners that write continous tracks to the boot sector thus burning your hard drive with unremoveable media code. These can be beaten with partitions moved and activating a new primary partition on the infected damaged drive. lots and lots of fun. I don't really mind the media hacks they give me some entertainment at times. Hats off to these original covers they know there stuff. What's trivial is the wannabe's who use the original hacker code as their own. This allow the wannabe's to race off to the toilet an jerk off at there five minute hack using someone else's code. It gives them their 15 minutes of self fame while they talk sh!t to their mates down the pub....
