Calendar/Postcard Pictures

If the bandwidth is allowed on copytechnet;
I propose to start a thread where people can post a photograph or digital image suitable for a postcard or calendar setting.
I would like to make a calendar or postcards from places or events from around the world and return the finished artwork back to copytechnet so every copier business or individual Tech can print it out for free...
Of coarse every person on CTN can vote on which images make the cut.

The photo's or artwork can be animal,vegetable or mineral. Hopefully not to raunchy or riscque. Funny ,surreal or analytical. Get those creative ideas into gear.

It's just an idea........


(P.S. Then again I could always charge $1.00 for each calendar and donate all the profits back to CTN...)

Okay the very first calendar theme will be photo's of Beach-babes,Penthouse-pets,or Playboy-dolls........--juuuusst kiddding......

Now that I have your attention.

The first photo theme will be Famous landmarks or buildings. I'm sure some of the guys from Sydney Australia can get a rush hour photo of the Sydney Opera House or Harbour bridge. A night shot at peak hour or silhouette would be magic.

......... Plagarising or blatant copyright stamping is NOT ALLOWED. It must be genuine numero uno owner material.........

Some proposed calendar photo's to get people started...

These photo's were taken on a fishing trip. Apology,image quality was lost when reducing.

I'm annoyed in that these photo's will soon have giant bulk ships in the background.
The mining industry has forcibly built coal and gas ports along our beautiful coast line.

Please enjoy this small piece of paradise while we're still able,
the reef and marine life has already suffered greatly in our area.

I'm annoyed in that these photo's will soon have giant bulk ships in the background.

I think we got some photo's of when we were down at Southwest Rocks and Crescent Head in NSW during Christmas. Pretty sure we spotted fish rock; Saw a doco about it the day before as well. It's got an internal cave system of sorts. The footage they had coming back up was gorgeous. Hundreds of reef fish silhouetted against the light shining through the water.

What was it ?
Was it like some of my customer copier print outs ?
As white as a polar bear in a snow storm taken with a flash ?
Or as black as an African down a coal mine with a power-out ?

Yeh , it was removed by me. You made me feel a little guilty about the racey content, so I deleted it. Maybe Ill put em back on another thread. And no, it had nothing to do with black and white, green or purple or whatever. Maybe a little pink was insinuated.

You should clear this idea with the site admin before you start using his server space and bandwidth for something that other sites like pinterest are useful for. I know that if this were my site I wouldn't allow it. Pictures can take up a LOT of space and downloading them a LOT of bandwidth. Another suggestion would be for you to get your own site and post the pictures there.

I assume the CTN forum might like feline calender ...?... We can put togther anything we like.
I'd like to see a funny cartoon calender.

Just reduce the photo's in size until everyone gets around to selecting the bests ones.
Then you can private email me the original size photo.
This should reduce bandwidth and save server space.
