In a restaurant one day the waitress brought my steak and then set down a couple of the sauces pictured here.
I just politely told her that if the steak need to be covered with something like that; she may as well go ahead and take it back to the kitchen, throw it away, and have them cook another steak.
She looked somewhat startled, but did remove the offensive bottles of sauce .
In my humble opinion ;
If you are going to eat a steak: ( cooked by someone other than yourself ) you are allowed to put pepper on it. The only other things you should need are a knife and fork ."The Serenity Prayer" . . .
God grant me the serenity to accept stupid people , the courage to not waste my time and energy on them , and the wisdom to know that I cannot fix STUPID .Comment

I'm no steak snob, and I definitely will use steak sauce. It's my steak and I will eat it how I like.
