First of all, this is something a shoe company did, so take this with a grain of salt.
Still, it's a guy on a dirt bike surfing in Tahiti.
Anyway:

Grain or Salt or not, watch the movie AND the three additional "behind the scenes" videos on how they made the final video...you'll have an appreciation for the final product!!!

In 8th grade, my science teacher had a small scale version of this. It was a little steel ball and a feather trapped in a plastic tube with a valve on it. He could hook up the valve to a pump, create a vacuum, and then turn the tube upside down; everyone could watch the feather and the ball fall at the same speed. Pretty cool.

My folks have a hummingbird feeder and I've found the birds fascinating to watch while they fly around it. At least the ones around here have a song like other birds, although it takes a bit of patience and luck to hear. So if you are in a place that humming birds are found you might consider setting out a feeder too. Just keep the feeder some distance from your house, as the feeders tend to attract wasps and ants.
