Missed it too.. Well it was raining anways, so I would not have saw it even if I wanted to.

No pictures (I tried, but our otherwise awesome LED streetlights caused too much local glare for my camera to deal with), but it is supposed to be this way for a couple of days. If I understand the article correctly, it should be visible worldwide, too.
