My good friend in my town who built and crew chiefs Erica Enders Stevens pro stock camaro won the NHRA pro stock division world championship yesturday. Very cool.

Kevin Harvick, 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion is from here in Bakersfield.Good Vibrations Motor Sports March Meet 2015 will be March 5-8, 2015 at the Auto Club Famoso Drag Strip. About 10 -15 miles north of here. NHRDA Spring Diesel Nationals is scheduled for March 21, 2015 at Famoso.Comment

Cordova is a good old track. Raced bikes there over the years. Rick and Rickie Jones got there start there. Now they are world champs.Comment

Indeed
although I must admit, Super-Twin is the best sound ever. No other bikes can compare in terms of sound, just superb. Only once I've left my ear defenders out of ears, silly me could have caused serious damage standing with wide-angle lens on a start line when they were doing burnouts. Nice shots, but my ear drums were coming out. stupid me really, it was painfull.

That would be awesome. You'd love it. Especially morning walks in the pits (FREE btw) checking the teams as they start up engines, the smell of nitrous oxide biting your eyes
I do only FIA Main Event (end of May, Start of season) and FIA Finals (September - end of season)
I go usually the whole 4 days. Check the offer below good saving if you thinking about taking a peek at some mean machines! You don't get 7000 - 8000 bhp out of F1

Well at Santa Pod there is optional hospitality seating and you are staring at the flaming shotguns barrels, however it is not as posh as F1. Plus they put a plexi glass in front of you for elf&safety in case a piston take a hike from the block. I personally don't like it, prefer the crowded bank with coolbox stuffed with cold beer
