I fixed my first copier in 1982. Have been in the field till 2007. That is when I transferred to my companies help desk. I was assisting costomers with printing scanning and hardware issues. All was fine till they wanted to take the tier 2 problems and make us do them also. My training consisted of YouTube videos for fiery and drivve print / scan ,and ppdm. I lost my job because I could not keep up. I cannot compete with the 25 / 30 year olds out here now. Someone please shoot me.
