checking in / Riso Gr 2710 questions

Hello, I am new to this forum. I recently acquired a Risograph GR 2710 and have a few questions regarding the machine.

Can a Riso GR 1700 color drum fit in a Riso GR 2710? The printable area seems to be the same, but I cannot tell.

Also, what is the best place to purchase ink and drums for such an old machine? I m specifically interested in flat gold ink.
