    Greetings from Toshiba!

Hello everyone. Just signed up at this site and I'm looking forward to finding tips and ideas I can't find on my company's official tech support site. I've been in the business since 1997, started as a setup tech with Ikon Office Solutions and graduated into repair technician with a minor in Fiery rebuilds and special setup tech specialist with another by the book nerd/geek because we were sticklers for detail. Ikon was bought by Ricoh around 2007 and exactly one year today was my last day at Ricoh when my place in Massachusetts shut down to relocate to a giant production 'assemble by numbers' facility in Pennsylvania with an emphasis with hiring people off the street to do one job on a piecework-like production line. Well good luck with that and your Lean Management. Was very fortunate to land on my feet with Toshiba who relocated one of their larger shops near Boston to a smaller location closer to me. I am now a field service technician, very new to me as I had always been a shop tech. Doing a lot of learning on the fly and it's exhausting! I'm hoping to get some good info from this site as I did when I was with Ricoh. They had a tech forum site that looked exactly like this one. Perhaps it is. But unfiltered to include all copier models. I will be looking for everything Toshiba as well as Lexmark and Hewlett Packard since my company sells those, and one Ricoh item rebranded as a Toshiba. Large production 1105 which is a Ricoh 907EX/906EX with just a name change and maybe different firmware. But still a pain to maintain no matter what the brand!
