    yup, checkin in.

I've been out of the pro side of this for awhile, but have been thrown back under the buss since moving out here to the middle of nowhere.

My wife and I have a graphics shop, and due to the lack of quality service, oh, and money, I have been servicing this junk myself.

We run some old Xerox/techronics stuff. 780 and 790 engines.
Also a shinny new to me Toshiba 3100c.

We pick this stuff up cheap, as most other businesses are forced to abandon the stuff, as the quality of service is kinda bad here.
The docucolor we got had been "fixed" 4 times before the previous owners dumped it on us.
Was a single sensor on the BTR that was toast. Apparently the tech could not look up the service code. Ended up with new drums, developers, and HD though!

sorry for the delay, didn't think anyone would reply to the welcome post!
      the very very western tip.

There are a couple of outfits in Atlanta and Chattanooga, but either they don't want to drive way out here, or the customers don't want to pay the travel time.
I think Im in the travel time category.
Understand, I used to do this for a living, and I cant bear to watch some kid stumble around my stuff at $99/hr. There is a marked propensity for "Oh I don't have any parts in the van, we'll have to order that and schedule another call...."
      Nope, not gonna happen.

I am in the middle {Fayet-Nam}.I list my home as the Republic of Pineland, it is a real and mythical place that take up about 6 counties in the middle of the state.
I bet travel time to do a call for you is a bitch! That has got to run up the ticket.

yea, there is a guy out by you that sounds competent, he needs $250 to show up.
The 1100 lb. digital press from Toshiba only cost $325 to ship from Chicago!
