    Kinda New

I've been a member for almost a year now but I never introduced myself so I'm going to now.

I work for a small company in a fairly rural area of Pennsylvania. In fact, there are only two copier techs where I work and I'm one of them (3 if you include my boss, but he will only do a service call if we're really swamped with calls). I have no degrees or certifications to fix copiers. I was trained by my current coworker, who was trained originally by the boss (who has a degree in something). Needless to say I've had to teach myself a number of things and I find myself learning new things on a regular basis.

My company deals mainly with Panasonics but we're too small to be a dealer. So we don't get Service Bulletins on the machines we service and I've never seen nor done a Firmware update. It makes the job more difficult, but I'm managing.

In conclusion, I'm not going to be much help around here but I will certainly try to be. I certainly have appreciated the help I've received thus far from this site and I'm truly grateful to be a part of it.

P.S. If you haven't noticed, I have a goofy sense of humor (see avatar photo and signature). I hope that's ok.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
    O.o
