My question is what exatly is your question? Are you just looking for a basic network printer question or are you looking for the correct section to post a network printer question? (which would be the connectivity section). Are you trying to discover a network printer? What OS are you running on your computer?

I figured that once i know where to post i can put my specs & details there ... Thanks so much for replying!

(our desktop computers are all running xp and there is the windows server 2003 which houses the shared drive - sitting behind me)
