Add Toner Probs

I have been looking at a Ricoh MPC 4000 which wont accept new black toner cartridge. Have changed dev, thinking about ordering new toner pump. Switch off toner end sensor and machine can see full bottle of toner. Force add, no toner in dev unit. Any suggestions please

First impression sounds like a Toner pump.

What is the latest error code in the SC History SC7430

Have you seen any SC 364 error codes on the display ?

I had this on an MPC2500 it would not detect a faulty TD (K) sensor unit. I moved the faulty K-Dev unit to another good machine and the faulty K-Dev unit instantly showed SC 364 (faulty K-Toner Density sensor) on the good machine.
