i hv canon ir 2570 first it was showing E20-191 i removed the patch sens , clean it and cleand all toner from the machine with a blower and now the code E20-191 has gone but it continuosly shows E20-0081, after clearing eror in service mode machine gets ready. but when we press the copy button E20-0081 comes again, what should i do? plz help me

going back to your first error of the 0191 you may want to a look at that yellow drum assembly. Also retrace your steps on the work your did for this error which created your 0081 error. Neither of these error codes are in the book and I have nothing else in my database for these two errors either for this model.

You may try drums, but it could also be something with the hopper/toner assembly as well. Check your connectors between the rear frame and the drum housing for damage and debris as well.

the drum patch sensor is dirty.
take out the drum carefully and look up around about half way into the cavity at the position of 11 o clock the sensor has a white plastic surround clean the suface and replace drum and shouls be ok

very vert common problem for this machine
