    Noob need Advice for Used Multifunction Laser machine for Home use!?

    Ive been scouring craigslist for a good color copier/scanner/printer for home use. My home use is fairly heavy however, and an Inkjet just wont cut it. I am in the oil and gas industry and as a designer/engineer i am constantly working from home. I need to be able to do all of the copy/print/scan functions on everything from 4.25x6.5 pamphlet paper all the way up to 11x17 in B&W and color. with a budget of 1000-1500 bucks im wondering if it will even be worth messing with? are the 5-10 year old machines going to be reliable? What are some good reliable and fairly efficient machine models that would fit the bill? Ive put some links to models im looking at in my area, let me know what you guys think...

          Xerox 3536 potentially expensive parts and labor if repairs are needed.
          Hp I do not think that supports 11x17.
          Toshiba 3510... I would take this if all the service logs are there. It had some mods and works well up to 20k per month.
          toshiba 451 (page expired) but would not recommend unless you can repair and clean weekly.
          Sharp and kyocera I do not know.
          the last 3-4 post are expired.
          And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
