IR 3035 jams with lgl paper

Hi guys, this is my first post. I have a background in electronics and have been involved with canon copiers for a few years now. I must say that the forum is a great way to share ideas and I have benefited a great deal from info shared. I hope to be able to contribute soon.

I've got this problem with a canon ir3035. The machine feeds ltr paper just fine, but lgl keeps jamming just before the fixing unit. Additionally when i press for 1 copy i get 2 being fed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
