Canon C5051 false replace black toner message
In an effort to reduce diagnostic troubleshooting suffering on this beast.
Canon C5051 giving a message to replace the black toner even though the black toner bottle is full.
one reason is no toner bottle rotation, even though you can hear the toner bottle motor pulsing and see the gears in the drive frame turning, with the rear cover removed and controller asm swung out of the way. One of the gears in the drive frame is cracked, a hair line fracture causing it to slip on its shaft instead of driving it. The canon parts guide does not list the gears separately so the whole frame with gears and all has to be replaced.
