    new Riso (non-)user

    Hello to the forum!

I stumbled across the forum while looking for a used Risograph, as we just heard about Risos and decided to buy one and didn't really know much about them.
Well, we got the chance to buy a really cheap RC 6300 a few weeks ago. It worked pretty good - with some small problems we always were able to fix.
But now it more or less broke down - the motor is only moving a little bit before the whole machines resets itself.
Now we try to get in touch with Riso-Experts in Germany that might be able to help us - we don't want to give it up that fast... (we just bought an additional brand new drum :-( )
So if there are any Riso Experts living close to Munich: We would love to get in touch. Also if there are any forum members that have spare parts for an RC 6300.

    Thanks anyway,

    Fabian from
    department of volxvergnuegen/Munich/Germany

Glad to have you join us.

Actually, post your Riso question is the Digital Duplicator forum as that is what a Riso is.

You'd think that after three semesters of conversational German language classes in high school I'd know what volxvergnuegen meant.
But that was back in the seventies, and it took me a while just to figure out how to pronounce it now. My fault, oh well.
            Still, welcome!

                :-)

Well, that actually is a neologism made up of the words for people and enjoyment/pleasure/...
No wonder you did not learn that in school. ;-)
