          mostly im a laptop tech..but lately i hv been getting printers eg hp2727 ,hp1522 hp2015 etc..i have been able to copy the firmware chips of the printers after repair also i hv seen that it is faster to flash the chips on external programmer if the printer is showing something like "ready to download firmware" or "rfu load error" etc..
          i have for the following eeprom dumps HPs 1522 2727 1536 2015 ,hp9040mfp cf image,hp 602 601 printer ssd image ,,,oki c9650 bios main amic...etc ...also most newer printers now come with NAND flash chips so a nand reader is now necessary...eg for hp pro m401..
