    Private Message__:-(

Has stopped, can no longer open.
    Internal server error, Gateway timeouts.

Very sad, tested on 4 different systems.

Have not seen this symptom, but I don't get a lot of PMs.

I'm seeing one or two odd ball browser effects...
One problem on CTN is reading the same thread as being post as 1 minute ago.
Repeat likes/thanks turning up from 3 or 4 days even weeks later.

The current version of Firefox has started loading Popup screens behind the main form.
I always use in private browsing with no spell checking, visible Menu-bar . These option are being reset every time I load Firefox. Firefox has some how traversed around my firewall an is now loading soft-porn (skimpy clothed women) advertisements. No advertisements are shown with in private browsing, especially after passing through my firewall settings.

I detest having to pay money to use the internet, and then have advertisement jamb up my webpage viewing and downloading times. The adverts are not so much the problem it is the webpage URL access to multiple world wide servers used to track your browser by placing time latent images all over your web pages. Each different advertisement server needs to be accessed slowing down each webpage update.

You have one or more viruses. I'm guessing you have installed some "free" software in the past. They can be a pain in the @ss to get rid of. I have the best results with chrome and add-block extensions and being careful what I click on and install.

I'm getting a weird bug on CTN since yesterday. I can't go to the next page of some new threads, and I also get time outs with a good connection.

[Resend due to Internal Server Time-out]

Yes I too have exprienced similar latent web page up dates on CTN. (see above)
It appears to have started to happen in the last couple of weeks.

          RE: Virus
I did download a PDF service manual from a CTN forum this morning(14-9-16). I had to restart my browser after it timed out. The above CTN URL redirected to a web page first, before I could click the download hyperlink. It may have just been an random coincidence. First time I usually give people the benefit of the doubt. I already had the service manual listed in the post, I was just curious to see if the url was genuine. It certainly smells like the usual web page hack tactics were being practiced.

This is my work PC. I have this machine backed up on ISO image. I generally dump this machine HDD every few months to clean it out, and then reload the system off the image file. All in all I don't mind, it's par for the course in our electronic age.

            Stupid unemployment.
Currently I get the internet only through my cell phone, it's actually kind of the neatest thing, but you have to be patient. If you push your internet connection too hard, that error will occur, at least it has for me anyway.

I have been getting frequent Gateway timeout errors trying to open links to CTN from my email or links within CTN, Site Feedback & Questions took two attempts to open and The random though thread took three this morning. I have a feeling that someone is hitting the CTN server with Denial Of Service attacks.

If you are being redirected when you go to certain web pages, your computer has been infected with a browser hijacker. Work around to verify is to type in the URL instead of clicking on a link. If typing the URL works but the link, your computer is infected. Try installing MalwareBytes AntiMalware. The hijacker may block you from using the download link so you may need to download it to a memory device on a uninfected computer.
