I can't say about email as I have email notifications turned off. I have no problem if there is a private message notification under Notifications at the top of the screen. I tried it from within the site without going through the Notifications drop down and, once I remembered how to get to it there was a couple of seconds delay the first time in. Might have been a caching delay as once I had been in, the next time it came right up.

Gateway Timeouts continue when trying to access INBOX PM on copytecnet site.
This is a site issue, and not a browser issue.z

from my end it looks like you have (see below), do you mind if I try to reseting your PM's and see what happens, you'll probably lose all your PM's?

it says I have over 65 K notifications but cant delete

Inbox contains 0 messages. You have 65,535 messages stored, of a total 100 allowed. (Empty Folder)

Resetting you PM's (which deletes your saved messages) seem to correct the problem, if anyone wants a reset just let me know.

Thanks for the effort, but still having Gateway Timeouts when trying to access INBOX/PM's.
Need to keep reloading page a few times to get access.

And I have high-speed internet .

Aneurysm, twice this afternoon I have gotten a 504 Gateway time out when trying to reply to a thread. In both cases, closing the tab and re-opening the thread and my reply is there. It just did not open the thread and show the reply after I clicked reply. It did function correctly on this.

i just noticed I am not getting email notifications about people reply to my posts or threads I am subscribed to.... best I can tell, been like that for a week or so.

Top of the window click on Settings. Open General Settings under My Account - My Settings. Check to see who is selected in Messaging & Notification - Receive Email, I have all three checked. Also check Default Thread Subscription Mode. If you want to receive email as replies are posted, set to Instantly, using Email.

I had to do this when I first joined and after the last software update.
