    Forum subscriptions removal

    Hello there!

Any easy way of deleting forum subscriptions? I keep getting notifications from threads I no longer am interested in, but when I went to the subsciptions page, I can't just select a bunch of them (or all, for that matter) and just click "Remove" - I have to do it one by one. And I got 174 pages of them! Aaagh!

    Have a nice weekend all!

I think I can delete them (all of them is my only option) for you, I'll try it on test user to make sure it does what I think it does first. should I delete ALL of your subscriptions if it works?

If you are getting email notifications there is a link in the email to Unsubscribe.

I opted out email notification and left them only through my control panel long time ago it works perfectly to me.

Sorry for the delay - Yes, please, if possible. Since I left the copier tech business behind me, I have no interest on following anything prior to that, except for the ocasional thread - and I can add those afterwards.

          Thanks!

I just noticed something this evening. How do I work on my ignore list?

User settings - Account - At the very bottom is Ignore list You can remove or search somebody and add to list.

I also got weird notification, seems every topic I participated has the status "subscribed".
I checked my user profile and see that I have >1500 subscriptions active.

You can sort this list from new to old elements and I unscribed around 100 of the newest subscriptions expecting to see less notifications.

I can delete them ALL for you but I have no way of filtering for new, old, or other. Let me know.

That'll be great - I think it's better to make a fresh start, thanks a lot!

In your User Settings on the Notifications tab the very first thing is "Subscribe when posting When you create or participate in a topic, you will automatically be subscribed to it."

IMHO it is not something to worry about.

Yeah I saw this setting, it's already unchecked but it might have been active with the old forum software. Probably for all users. I still prefer to wipe this if it's not a big deal.

One thing, I think it might be useful for those complaining about searching.
