Copytechnet "The Mobile App" - Update

CTN_Mobile_Android_310x140.jpgHere is the latest update on the mobile app. We are currently leaning towards making the app a free download for now and supporting it through ad revenue, not because we aren't interested in recouping our costs but because it is such a pain in the ass to actually *Sell* anything through the iTunes store. After we get things running and all the kinks worked out we might go with a free app that is "Ad Supported" and a paid app that would be free of ads but that will be something for future development, at this time our goal is to get a working app out to our users. There are still a few issues/bugs that have we have the software developers looking at but as soon as those issues are resolved we will release the app. The Android version will be first to release and then the iPhone/iPad version shortly after that. As soon As We get more info we will pass it along.

The app looks really nice. Nothing bad to say yet. Functionality seems very good.

My phone has the spell check built into the text entry function.

Don't like spellcheckers - they're more trouble than they're worth. Just google for "Damn You Autocorrect" or something similar to see what I mean.

The app that is posted is for Andriod phones only, our iPhone app will be available in about a week. The mobile app development tool we use is only for Android and iOS at this time but the developer plans on expanding the phone OS offerings in the future. There is no firm time-line for anything other then Android and iOS at this time.

Soon, apparently we need a Mac to compile the program on and I don't have access to a Mac so I am working on acquiring or borrowing what we need. There is also a money thing involved with registering the app w/apple so that is delaying us a little.
