    Great Forum! 2 suggestions?

Great Forum! Thank you to all the moderators as well as technicians that are donating their time and expertise!

2 possible suggestions for ease of use

    1. Sort forum search by Number Of Replies
    2. Sort forum search by Views
(or sort forum searches in general some how)

Again, thank you all... you help me sleep at night

I like that ideas but it's probably up to vBulletin to offer these features. Still a good suggestion so maybe the admin will pass it to the vBulletin support or check if it's possible to enable somehow.

I don't have much faith in the forum search, but a UK company has given us a link for a Copytechnet goggle search which I find is very helpful.

Sweet but you can search every site with google directly in google. Just open google, type in your usual search request/keywords and then add "site:copytechnet.com" (or whatever website you like to crawl). I mostly like to use this on other forums I don't like to register in order to use the search functions without limitations.

I don't know if "by the number of view's" would work. I think a bot looking at the page counts as view doesn't it?
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

I have found that if you play with the wording in google search, a lot of copytechnet posts show up.
Google adds is using this site for info, why not use google for information to this site.

            As always...............................
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

The forum search just sucks. I use google like so: "site:copytechnet.com ricoh mpc2050 sc400"
              ' "But the salesman said . . ." The salesman's an asshole!'
              Mascan42

'You will always find some Eskimo ready to instruct the Congolese on how to cope with heat waves.'

              Ibid

I'm just an ex-tech lurking around and spreading disinformation!

Thank you for your suggestions! I have used google site search for other sites but not for forum searches.

Yeah, a sort function would be nice but im sure the costs outweigh the benefits. No worries and thank you for your interest in the query
