I usually rep up people who take time to come back and "close" a thread telling us what did solve the problem.

And Paul's a jerk, everyone knows that!

Wow! I guess I did sound a bit harsh. Maybe I'm just thinking of aab1 and want to "nip it in the bud" before it gets way out of hand. Oh well, just chalk it up to PMS or something.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

I'm surprised - you know how to play the violin? That requires finesse, you know!

He said he was going to get it, which means he must have one, but he said nothing about being able to play, which is a totally different matter. Trust me when I say this, not all who have one can play. Lord help you, if you live near someone who has one and can't.

                          YES !!!

I remember my son learning to play the TUBA, and our neighbor's son learning to play the TRUMPET. ( I'm not sure which is worse, a violin , a horn, or bagpipes : Yes; I'm Scottish decent )
There were some very interesting duets in the neighborhood for a while ....

                            Re: Reputation & Rep power

Yeah I was burned by manuals for you as well and to attest to his kindness he insulted me for asking for a manual is the copier forum after. I did not think i had to provide a complete history of my scouring the service manuals forum and coming up empty before trying to reach out to the techs themselves. This was after several attempts to contact them for the manual i was looking for which they did not offer. So trying to be helpful to the next guy looking for the same manual i posted a link to a website that had one you could purchase as i did. Then he sent me a nasty PM with his disapproval of the link i posted. I guess he can't handle a little competition. I have never seen him offer any solid assistance besides trying to sell you a manual. I have purchased several manuals from him in the past but refuse to purchase any more from him in the future i would rather loose a service call. I'm sure he'll have another snappy comment about getting out my violin to further attest to his kind hearted character.
