    Donations

You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Here it is the 17th of the month and there is only $28.93 in monthly donations and almost half of that is my donation. This forum is a valuable resource for everyone who uses it and forking over a few bucks a month to help pay for the monthly maintenance and upkeep shouldn't be a hardship on anybody (if it is you've got bigger problems) So come on folks, fork out a few bucks a month to keep the site up, cause if it goes away, everybody loses !

True. Just donated a small amount - I know it's not much, but every little bit counts...

Pardon if this sounds rude, but aren't donations meant to be a gracious gift of money, and not a shaming scheme? I wouldn't want to be in a guilt trip just because I didn't donate.

For someone who just joined our community, spend some time here, then make an assumption wheather you might feel a guilt trip or not.

When I have a good month, I contribute.
When I can just cover making a livingI contribute knowledge or just a laugh.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

I donate at the first of the month on the hopes it's going to be a good month. It's called karma.

True, donation should be a gracious gift. However, there's nothing wrong in reminding us the site accepts donations - nobody's pointing a gun at you, you're the one who's going to ponder whether it is worth donating or not.

As for me, the help I received far outweights the help I've ever given - and, since I had some spare change in Paypal, I donated it.

I'm in Vegas and just paid $21 for a plain old orange juice. Go talk to the people at the Rio for it.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

This site is an invaluable tool for me. For the cost of a paper feed roller or even a cleaning blade/ month. There's no better 'bang for the buck' !

Don't get me wrong. This is a very good resource for copier repair. And if I have any $$ left over, I may donate when I can.

Justmanuals.com, why call me a clown? Your avatar resembles a clown even more.

Damn, Dewster, take a break and pay attention. If it weren't for Paul and others, this site may not exist. BTW-his avatar is Alfred E Newman as the "Joker", not exactly a "clown".

I'm also running a website/community and don't ask for money, even don't embed ads. It's my hobby I do for fun and most hobbies are more or less pricey. Besides that I find the monthly bill way too expensive/oversized for this single website. I see that this forum is fairly good frequented and too heavy for cheap shared hosting but I'm shure you'll get a fitting and reliable dedicated hosting package for way below <100USD/month these days.
