I'm thinking the avatars may be a combination of local and server cached files. At the risk of losing my own avatar I'm not clearing my cache, but is anyone willing to try for the sake of science?

Word was if the site couldn't be restored after this past weekend the site would be rebuilt from the ground up. I would anticipate the return of the like button somewhat soon?

We have new like button already picked out and ready to go, we just need to hold off until we can figure out why some Avatars & attachments work while others don't. We are getting closer.

Don't forget, you can boost someones reputation, it's the Sheriff's badge looking thing under the user info (and possibly missing avatar)
