    Machine history tracking

Do any indy's out there use software for machine history tracking? I'd really like to find a cheap way to add it to quickbooks. That way, I can keep customer history, part #s, vendor history, and specific machine histories all in one place... without having to re-enter information.

Actually, I'm trying to figure out a way to do it all on a pad, so that I don't need paperwork anymore.

What version of Quickbooks are you using ? The company an software is now called "Reckon" it's no longer called Quickbooks.
The latest versions of Reckon allows you to program additional form fields and printout fields. With a little bit of ingenuity you can use it to track machine history.
