Removing rust from your yard tools, hand tools, even entire car fenders [ must be immersed in the liquid]. This actually works. I saw this and molasses is cheap enough that i had to try it. I had some rusted v brackets and put in a few with some rusted bolts and left it for a couple of days and could see a difference. In two weeks time all the rust had gone. washed it with water and sprayed with rust inhibitor and it is as good as new a couple of months after. This method removes rust where other chemicals failed.
Try this and post with your results, or those who know about this and done it, let us hear. Stay away from those toxic chemicals. cheers.

Took my guitar apart to clean it up and remove the rust from the Floyd Rose, cleaned the guitar and pickups but never got further. Floyd Rose still in pieces in a container at home. Will give this a try and share the results

Remember to use a 10 to 1 ratio of water to molasses.

Thanks! I don't have audio output on my PC at work. Just watched the video and saw the results were really good. Going to watch it again with sound when I'm home before trying it

I'll try take some before and after pics for show and tell too
