I need a scanner for my personal use. I don't have a great deal of room on my desk but would like a decent small scanner for not a lot of money. In doing copier/printer repair, I notice a lot of Fujitsu scanners in CPA offices but the price sort of scares me off. I buy and sell used copier and printers all the time so this may seem like a small problem but I would welcome some input before biting the bullet. Thanks!

Re: Recommendations for a good small scanner?
For a fairly decent sheet-fed scanner, you can expect to pay a minimum of $250-$400 for a new one. Used market is all over the map. I'm familiar with the Canon DR scanners, and they're a pretty good bang for the buck. The DR-3080 CII was pretty popular at the dealership I worked at before.
That said, if you have a multi-function copier/printer in your home office, you may already HAVE a scanner.Comment
