Staples aquires Dex Imaging of Tampa, Florida...any thoughts?

I used to have stock in Staples, ( they were struggling financially), and were bought out and have been privately owned since 2017. I just read that Staples has purchased DEX Imaging, of Tampa, Florida. What are your thoughts?

Odd purchase for Staples Dex Imaging is not a nationwide company copier company, mostly is Florida based. Very good company to work for I wonder if the employee bonus program will be killed as Staples will likely want to keep that money. Dex has a good cash flow so maybe that was it as Staples is still struggling

I noticed Dex was buying up companies and what looked as if they were making a move toward us Northerners. I thought it was interesting that a financially struggling office superstore now purchased a privately owned copier dealer.

Interesting thing indeed. I heard that Dex actually manufactured it's own toner for their managed print services, I wonder if that had a part to it.
