There one dealer here that does it, for the hospitals only. We do it for the state tournaments if down. Otherwise they wait till morning. Most tournaments end about 8 or 9 pm.

We did that for two customers. The service contract covered regular business hours. Outside business hours it was billable at standard double-time. There was a lot of squabbling about billing, as you can imagine. Things like: "Bill didn't have the authority to call you out at 2:30am! ... etc, etc, etc." It's a continual headache. Plus, you'll need to pay some wage-premium to the tech that's on call, even if he isn't called out. Noone will want that duty without the wage-premium. Count that into your costs.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

2 decades ago, I worked directly for Xerox and they had 24/7 Production techs.
These contracts were for very large corporate accounts such as Medical Mutual, Paychex and Progressive.
        Not unheard of but rare.

Never have and never will. We have been asked but we delinced and told them they would need to buy a loaner fleet to keep onsite. Hospital and manufacturing facilities.

We occasionally do it with a stipulation that there is an extra charge for after hours and weekend on-site visits. Many accountants demand 7-day a week service during tax season.
