How to operate a printer at temperatures below 5°C 40°F

I'm having fairly random problems with laser and inkjet machines installed at store entrances, where the temperature in winter is close to 0°C.
Do you have any solutions or ideas to share?
I've just checked and most manufacturers indicate a minimum operating temperature of 10°C.

It's part of their job to print something for their customers on the spot, where do you want me to put the printer ? There's no office nearby, they'd have to go through the whole store for each customer ?

They need to provide a location that is within the manufacturers specifications. Check the installation requirements listed in the service manual. It should include environment which will include temperature range. An example from a Ricoh color manual,

Temperature Range: 10 °C to 32 °C (50 °F to 89.6 °F)
Humidity Range: 15% to 80% RH

Provide that information to the store.

They already know the specs, 10 to 35, but they can't provide this location because it's physically impossible.
They used to have crappy machines that only lasted a year, so we'd like to find a solution that's a little more environmentally friendly than replacing the machine after every winter.

A free standing divider screen or 2 between it and the door might help. Alsp tray and drum heaters in the copier.

There is already something similar of a divider.
Tray heaters are only for A3 machines (and not available in Europe AFAIK), what are drum heaters ?
