Best cheap printer for printing on mylar metalized bags?

How to print on mylar metalized bags? Black ink is fine and its more for simple logos and text. Prefer something that does not need to be hand loaded. Bags are 3.5x5"

Suggest that you print onto a label and then have them attach the label to the gold bag.

Not a practical printing job through anything.

Sorry all I have but its a solution.

Get an HP 402n or similar, they are cheap and run your labels through it.

For actually printing on something like that, I would suggest one of four options:

1. Offset press
2. High speed duplicator
3. Wide document printer
4. Local printer service that has one or more of the above

How I have seen this done is that it gets printed on after packing with a direct laser. Its got automatic focal adjustment and can print from a distance of up to 80mm away from the surface of the object it is printing on. There are ink technologies that does the same kind of think prints dot on objects more that an inch away.


Does it need to print variable data or the same thing over and over again?

No variable data, mostly logo some text.
