    Miracle Service

Wandering if anyone out there is using miracle service software, and if so what do they think of it. Also is there any other dispatch/service software anyone recommends for a small company? Thanks

The company I work for, does, I'm not a big fan myself, Tech wise, I used to work for other companies that was alot simpler faster to retrieve work history, parts inventory and such, but my boss and the dispatcher seems to like it.

I used it several years ago when I owned my own company and integrated it with Quickbooks Pro because Miracle Service didn't have a full accounting package, just basic billing - no AP or payroll. I really liked the ease of use of dispatch, contract management and service histories, but the lack of full accounting made you have to export data to Quickbooks every evening and you had to verify the data and after you got used to the process, it wasn't too bad. Ran inventory from Quickbooks. I'm sure they've improved it somewhat over the years.
I have a lot of experience with OMD and am currently using eAutomate. Both are very expensive and both have their strengths and weaknesses and require you to become an expert to fully utilize.
Miracle Service does integrate with several accounting packages. I would see if what you are using now does. If you don't have one, I recommend looking at Quickbooks Pro. Especially with this economy, you need to watch every dollar coming in and going out.

Hey, thanks for the input. We had a online demo with miracle service last week, and are having one with eautomate this Friday. We currently use quickbooks but the dispatching and call closing is basically manual and its tough to keep good service records. Our dispatcher did catch the export thing during the demo, and thought that was kind of quirky. Thanks again
