    Laser Printer Service Contract Pricing

    Good Morning Folks,
I have to quote a price to put 35 laser printers under service contract.
I don't want to deal with cost per print.
Rule of thumb used to be 17%.
But can't put a $400 printer under service, parts & labor for $68!
    Any suggestions would help

    Thanks,
    Ron

Maybe $100 a year per machine and only include labor. parts are extra. you could also work out an annual toner price agreement on top of that if you sell toner. How did you end up pricing it?

Work out a fair monthly usage say like 10k - 20k per month, figure out what that would cost and charge based on that minimum.

After 6 months, review and adjust if need be.

Otherwise, just do it the easy way and charge per click.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Ron,I am from NY myself so are pricing should be close...

It does not matter how much THEY paid for the printer or what it is worth, you have to figure out service, 35 printers for one year service would be $10,500.00 which would include everything but toner.
