    Automatic Toner Order Tool needed

We are using a Software tool at a big customer's side to automize the Toner orders for each mashine. It monitors each printer and mfp (of different brands) toner level and at a preset rate of remaining toner it generates an e-mail directly to our stockkeeper who sends it out. So far so good. But for some reason, the Tool seems to run wild and generates orders randomly. Because the vendor/developer of this Tool went belly up, we are not able to let it fixed asap, so we decided to disable it to prevent unnecessary costs.

Who uses something like this and can recommend me a trustful software?
The Brands being monitored are so far: Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh
Operation System should be XP or Win7.

    Thanks in advance for Suggestions

There should be a setting within the software admin side to allow you to set the emails to send only once a day, or once every two days, instead of of every time the machines calls out, which is where it may be set now. Within the same admin setting, you should find an area where you can acknowledge the toner message for the machine (in a sense telling the software that you have shipped toner,so stop bothering me) which will now stop the emails from being generated. With the vendor no longer available for support, you may have a hard time locating these settings.

We just started using FMaudit, PRETTY freaking sweet!! It monitors everything. If it has MIB info then it will read it. Even if the machine (any machine) has an error code. Toner lvl's too. Supply levels as well. (low imaging unit or fuser)
Check it out. You do have to pay for it but with the wealth of info ya get it's worth it. You can see if they are printing to the HP's more than the copier even.

Or you can just do as stated above and set up the copier to email the info out too you.

Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

FMAudut works well for what you want to do an the price is reasonable for what you get.

You'll probably want to use OEM toner in the machines you're monitoring as some manufacturers won't properly display toner levels when using aftermarket toner.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
